Books!

My girls like to read books in bed. Sometimes it takes them a while to fall asleep. If you can't tell from the picture, they have AT LEAST 20 books there.

Sweet dreams, girlies.

Ruffly Wreath!

Look what I made! I'm not very crafty, but I saw this on a blog and I decided to make it. TODAY! And I did it! It took me about 2 hours and I already had all of the supplies, so it was almost free! If you would like to make one too, here is the blog I found it on.

Ali is FIVE!

Ok, my children are growing up way too fast. Ali is now 5 years old, and all registered for kindergarten. She is a wonderful dancer and she is very smart. She can read some words, knows all the letters and their sounds, knows numbers up to 20, she can add and subtract single digits, and she is a snuggle bug. She has to stop her play every 1/2 hour or so and come in for a "huggie and kissie". She loves to play with her brother and sister and is a peacemaker often giving them her toys to make them happy. Ali is also our tech girl. She loves computers, smart phones, computer games, and anything with a screen. Ali also loves animals, bugs, and all things liviing. Her big gift this year was a Fur Real puppy that walks and barks. I hope it holds her off at least another year on a real pet.

When I asked Ali what kind of party she wanted she replied, "The kind with tacos and pinatas!" So, we had a fiesta. We played hot pepper (like hot potato), danced, made tissue paper flowers, and of course had a pinata. It turned out well. We had 12 kids here and we all had a great time!

Tim is older...

March is birthday season for us. It starts off with my mother-in-law's birthday, then the next week is Tim's. We started off by going to the PG Players performance of "The Importance of Being Earnest" and it was a WONDERFUL show! It is just hilarious and the actors were perfect. If you didn't get to see the show, go and rent it. It has Colin Firth in it, so that is always a bonus. The next morning we dined on doughnuts from Beyond Glaze. Delectable. Tim had cookies and cream, blueberry torte, german chocolate, and caramel apple. I enjoyed a rasperry torte and strawberry mango. Check them out if you haven't yet. They are amazing doughnuts. Next stop was Tron: Legacy. Then grandma brought home the kiddies and we had a pizza feast, cake and ice cream, and presents. Tim got a wii, so we spent the rest of the evening playing and dancing. What fun!

I'm so grateful for this wonderful man who has been by my side through so much. I know he loves me and that I can always count on him. He is also such a great father and I fall more in love with him as I watch him with our children. Love you, babe!

Bryant Got a Hair Cut

I have been cutting Bryant's hair. I thought I was doing a decent job, and then I did something weird with his bangs a couple of days ago. I asked my friend Karen to come and fix it. Here he is before...

And here he is after...

SO CUTE! Thanks Karen. He looks like a little boy now.

We're Moving!

We are purchasing a house. We are SO EXCITED about it. The biggest advantages to this house over the one we are currently in are: 4 bedrooms on the same floor, laundry on the same level as the rooms, a master bathroom, a pantry, and it's bigger. Awesome! It doesn't hurt that it is also 38 years newer. The kids get to stay at the same school too. We really feel like we've been lead to this house and that it will be a great move for our family. I will miss our ward, and my new calling which I LOVE (primary chorister). We hope to be moving around Feb. 1st. if we can close that fast and if we can find renters. Here are some pics.
