Strawberry Days '10

Strawberry Days were last week. They are such a great kick off to summer. We did our usuals: Concert in the park, children's parade, Huck Finn day, and the parade. We had a blast and love living in this great city! This is from the parade, which my niece Haley was here for as well, which made it so much more fun!

Bryant was pretty tired out by the end though. Yay! Summer is here!

Ali's Dance Concert

Ali's dance concert theme was Peter Pan and she was a little fairy. She just loves to dress up and go out and perform. She doesn't forget her steps and just shines in the spot light. She also has two of her friends in her class, Ava and Aspen. I call them the Three A-migos. They're so cute!

I'm so proud of you, Ali!

Bryant's First Birthday!

Yes, my baby is already one year old! He thinks he's a toddler, but he's still my baby. We went to Jungle Jim's and he just loved it.

I made cupcakes which he promptly made a mess of, but they were yummy!

Bryant is such a delight to have in our family. He is a happy, laughing little fellow. He is walking and enjoys chasing the girls around the house. He has 12 teeth, so he eats almost anything. He can say mama, dada, and na na na (no no no) while shaking his finger. The girls just love to play with him and we are so glad he is part of our family! Happy birthday, Bry Bry!

Lydia's 2 Wheeled Bike

Lydia learned how to ride a two-wheeled bike. She rides her bike more now than she ever has before. She's faster too, so she's more fun to take on bike rides. It's amazing how fast these milestones go. She's getting so big. Awesome Lydia!

Hiking Trip with Dad!

Tim took the girls on a little overnight backpacking trip! They didn't go far, but it was worlds away to the girls. The girls carried their clothes and some food, but Tim carried everything else. After hiking for about half an hour they found a great flat spot to pitch a tent that had a fire pit and some logs to sit on. It also had a great view.

The girls loved collecting firewood and being with dad. It rained on them at night, but they stayed dry and still had a great time! Tim's such a great dad.

It's Alive...

So Bryant started walking a couple weeks ago and we've had a blast watching him putter around. He doesn't walk exclusively yet, but he walks often. I'm glad he'll be walking for summer so his knees don't get all banged up crawling on the patio with shorts on and he won't get as dirty. Plus, it's SO CUTE!

Grandma Sheila's

We spent Spring Break at my mom's house in Washington. My four year old niece stayed and spent the week with us as well.

We went bowling. Amber(the 4 year old niece) won.

Bryant rode in this car while we bowled.

I took the kids to a car museum. This was Lydia's favorite because it was 102 years old.

Amber's favorite was the 2007 Viper. Nice.

We also had lots of good food, stayed up late, watched movies, and read stories...you know, Grandma's house stuff. We had a wonderful trip and can't wait to see everyone again in July!
What is your kids favorite thing to do at grandma's house?
